SEND support
At Paradise Early Years, we are committed to supporting every child’s individual journey. Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision ensures that all children—whatever their needs—can access an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can thrive. We work closely with families, our SENCO, and external professionals to identify needs early, plan tailored support, and celebrate each child’s unique progress in line with the SEND Code of Practice (2015).

How we identify and assess needs
We monitor every child’s progress from the start. Our key persons and SENCO work closely with parents/carers to observe each child’s strengths and areas where they may need extra help. If we notice that a child is not meeting typical development milestones, we discuss this sensitively with families and agree on next steps. We may use screening tools, language checkers or request an assessment from outside specialists (e.g., speech & language therapists) to understand the child’s needs.
