30 Hours Free vs Tax-Free Childcare
For every £8 you add to your Tax-Free Childcare account, the government adds £2 — up to £2,000 a year per child (or £4,000 if your child has a disability).

What is funded childcare

At Paradise Early Years, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. From September 2025, eligible working parents of children aged 9 months to school age can access up to 30 hours of government-funded childcare each week during term time.

These funded hours make quality childcare more affordable — helping families balance work and family life while giving every child the opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
Who Can Apply?

Working parents in England with children aged 9 months to 4 years, who meet the government’s eligibility criteria for funded childcare hours.

 

Visit GOV.UK to create or log in to your childcare account, then follow the steps to receive your code.

 

Apply between April 1st and August 31st for the September term, or check the GOV.UK website for specific funding windows.

 

Reconfirm your details every 3 months on your GOV.UK account to keep your code valid and avoid interruptions to your funding.
